Pensions: Strengthening Our Workplaces, Communities and the Middle Class

Over the past several decades, we have seen a number of alarming private-sector workplace trends that have diminished the relationship between employer and employee. The rise of contractors and temp employees, outsourcing, and diminished benefits have all led to an “every man for himself” attitude in today’s workforce. But perhaps the biggest contributor to job loyalty’s demise is the death of the private-sector pension.
